IKEA kitchens are a genuinely good product bolted to a genuinely hard installation problem. The boxes are precise; Toronto’s floors and walls are not. Getting forty flat-pack cabinets assembled square, hung on rails that are actually level, with fillers scribed to crooked walls and gaps that do not telegraph — that is a trade, and it is one we do weekly.
We take delivery, assemble, and install complete SEKTION kitchens, then finish what the flat-packs cannot: dishwasher and sink plumbing, appliance electrical, range hood venting, and the panels and toe-kicks that make an IKEA kitchen look built-in rather than bought. Typical installation runs $2,500–$6,000 depending on cabinet count and layout.
The most popular upgrade is the one IKEA cannot sell you: a real stone countertop templated to your kitchen, a tile or slab backsplash, and under-cabinet lighting on a proper circuit.
